I keep receiving calls from a number I don’t recognise, and they just won't stop!

Absolutely a scam! No doubt about it. The individual on the other end claimed to be from BT's tech support, insisting that my internet was riddled with viruses and that my IP address had been breached. The kicker? I'm not even a BT customer!

Someone pretending to be from BT called me up, saying my internet had a virus and would be disconnected soon, even though they didn’t know any of my details. They asked if I had a computer or laptop to fix it, but when I said no, they just ended the call. I then phoned an actual BT advisor who told me it was definitely a scam, and they were trying to get remote access to my devices at home!
