I received a rather unexpected phone call the other day. The person on the line insisted that I urgently required insurance for a Zanussi washing machine, and rather oddly, they requested my bank information. The trouble is, I don’t even possess one of those machines! When I began to probe a bit further, the caller abruptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you say?

Just got a ring from this number and they were trying to convince me to insure my Zanusi washing machine - problem is, that thing's been in the skip for 5 years! They even went as far as asking for my bank and card details, but I told them I haven’t got the machine anymore. I ended the call there. Honestly, watch out for these dodgy callers and don’t give out your financial info unless you’re absolutely sure who’s on the other end. Stay safe!
