Got a call on my phone from someone saying they were from Barnstaple. Picked up and a foreign sounding woman, like someone working in a busy call centre, knew my name straight away. She said she was with Verso (or something like that, I wasn’t exactly sure cos her accent was hard to follow) and wanted me to do a quick survey about local services, said it’d only take a minute. Since it was an unexpected call, I just told them no thanks and ended the call.

I got a call from some firm named Veraso, a lady with a foreign accent asked me to do a quick survey. When I asked what the survey was about and who it was for, she just said I didn’t need to know. Then she wanted to check if I was Mrs something, and I told her she didn’t need to know that either. She just ended the call. Stay clear of them completely.

I pretty much never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise now, like 99% of them just end up being pointless. Honestly, can’t remember a single time I actually bought anything from one of those cold calls, and from what I’m seeing here, I’m definitely not alone! Just blocked ’em all.

This morning, I received a call on my mobile from the number 01271 320171 and thought I should share my experience with everyone. I chose not to pick up the phone at first. After the caller ended the call, I decided to mask my caller ID and return the call. To my surprise, I was greeted by a recorded female voice saying, “Thank you for calling I Love My Offer.
