Phew, I’m really thankful I dodged this call! After checking out the other remarks, I found out about it on 6th September, and I promptly reported my BT landline number, 01270916482, to bt.com/scams.

Absolute charlatan! The person behind these calls goes by Jo, and it's getting ridiculous because she’s been ringing me repeatedly. This marks her fifth attempt! Each time I’ve informed her that she's nothing but a scamming crook and that there’s no chance I’d part with my cash. Yet, she keeps persistently hounding me, changing her number like it’s a game. It’s utterly infuriating!

No voicemail was left on my answering machine, which was rather odd. When I dialled 1471, it indicated that this was the last caller. However, upon checking with 1572, it showed that this number couldn't be identified. Strangely enough, this is the second occasion this has occurred.

Just received a call on our private landline, which is on the TPS register, from a number we don’t recognise—showed up as 1471. They didn’t leave a voicemail, so we’re inclined to think it’s probably another dodgy caller trying their luck. We’ve now added it to our block list!

Over the past few days, I've had a call from the same number popping up repeatedly. I had been evading it, but curiosity got the better of me this time. The caller purporting to be from an energy firm didn’t sit right with me, so I promptly ended the conversation.
