I'm a heating engineer and got a call from 01270 764990 about fixing a gas appliance in Sandbach. They gave me another number which turned out to be the homeowner's. When I spoke to her, she said someone has been scamming her with loads of tradespeople turning up. I did a 60 mile round trip for nothing, no payment - total waste of time!

this lady said that our phone number had rang her, but when we phoned her back we were sure we never called her at all. weird situation.
