Got a few calls late Sunday evening from some bloke named Alan Smith, who said he was ringing from MBNA. He was proper convincing, asking if I’d bought some Microsoft product for like £500. I’d already disregarded the first call, but it quickly became clear it was a scam. When I warned him I’d get in touch with MBNA fraud, he just ended the call on me. Best to steer well clear of this one.

Sounds like a total bank scam. I had loads of attempts to take money out of my account, but thankfully I didn’t have anything in there anyway. Then I got a call from someone saying they were from Lloyds. When I told them I’d already blocked my card, I just hung up. I called back and had a good laugh, then they ended the call and blocked my number. Proper dodgy people!
