I've received a multitude of calls from this pesky spam number that I've completely overlooked!

Received a call claiming to be from BT Openreach, asking about the speed and reliability of our internet connection. I had a gut feeling it was dodgy, especially since I'm not even a BT customer!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from Openreach. She was asking about my internet speed and then told me my router was probably dead and needed replacing. I told her that couldn't be right since I'd only just got a new one, and then she just ended the call on me.

The caller claimed she was with BT and mentioned our internet was gradually getting slower. I allowed her to explain her bit about testing the internet speed and boosting it. She definitely didn’t have a British accent.

Hearing all those boiler room noises in the background was a dead giveaway it was a sketchy call.

This number rang me earlier today, and I noticed a weird noise on their line, like they weren't really connected properly. I ended the call straight away. They haven’t tried ringing me again since.
