Every day, I get calls from three different numbers saying they're from TalkTalk and have the same story about router problems. They ring me loads, but I just told them I knew it was a scam and then hung up. I’ve blocked these: 01270 535688, 01270 537860, and 01270 36940. Pretty sure there are more out there, so watch out. These scammers are the worst, honestly I wish I could track them down and teach them a lesson.

I’ve been getting calls from these lot at least three times daily, and honestly feels like harassment at this point. I told them straight up I don’t own a laptop or any computer at home, and they just hung up on me. Heads up, they’re super persistent! Both blokes and ladies call pretending to be from ‘TalkTalk’, so watch out.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from TalkTalk, she wanted me to count the blinking lights on my router. I asked what the correct number of flashing lights should be if everything was OK, and then she just ended the call!

Got a call twice today from what sounded like this bloke of Asian background who was saying he was from TalkTalk, which is strange since I’m not even a customer. He mentioned he was calling from Manchester. I just played a beeping noise over the phone and told him my tracker says something different. He got really annoyed, started calling me useless and said he couldn’t do anything. I told him if he was really from TalkTalk, he wouldn’t be acting like that. Then he just hung up on me.

got a call from some asian lady claiming my computer had a major issue and told me to switch it on. if you get a call like this, dont bother turning your computer on. nearly got scammed out of loads of cash last year. i pretended to be clueless and just kept asking her to say stuff over and over until she gave up and hung up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk’s tech team. Been getting quite a few of these in the past week and the funny thing is, i’m not even a TalkTalk customer. The woman said she was calling from Manchester, so I just started making beeping noises and told her my tracker shows a different location. She ended the call pretty quick after that.

Somebody pretending to be from TalkTalk called me, saying my router was having loads of errors and that it could damage all the devices linked to it. They asked me to switch on my computer, which felt like a trick to get access to it or something. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

I got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, but honestly I couldn't make out what he was saying. Then, just as suddenly, he ended the call. This number has been ringing me almost daily, so I’ve just blocked it now.

got a call from a guy, sounded asian, saying he was with talk talk. he asked what colours my router lights were showing, said there were loads of errors. i told him to take my number off their list and warned him i'd report the call. had a bunch of calls like this before but never actually picked up till today.
