It turns out this outfit is a debt management company. They manage to scoop up your information during your financial struggles and then get in touch to offer their services. That's all well and good, but when you’re setting up a monthly payment plan, they take a chunk out for themselves first. For instance, if they negotiate a £250 monthly payment with your creditors, they’ll pocket £45 right off the bat! Honestly, it’s far wiser to seek assistance from organisations like Citizens Advice or PayPlan, both of which are charities and provide the same service without any fees.

This outfit turned out to be a debt management agency. They seem to manage to acquire your information when you're already in a bit of a financial pickle and then reach out to market their debt management services. Initially, I didn't have an issue with this, but I soon discovered that when they negotiate a monthly payment plan with your creditors-let's say £250 a month-£45 of that will be pocketed by them in fees! Honestly, it would have been far more prudent to go with the likes of the CCCS or PayPlan, which are charitable organisations and won’t slap you with charges for the same service.
