So, I got a call from someone named Shaz Ahmed claiming he can sort out PPI claims for me. He asked if an advisor could visit my home to help fill out the paperwork. The company they mentioned is Crystal Legal Services. Feels a bit dodgy to me - like maybe it’s just an excuse to get inside and try selling something? Anyone else heard of this?

I picked up the phone at 4:19 pm on Thursday. It was clearly an automated call because there was a pause before I was connected. Someone greeted me with a ‘hello’, but then abruptly ended the call. I tried ringing the number back, but there was no answer.

We’ve just received the call! Upon answering, we were greeted with a robotic voice that simply said “farewell” before the connection dropped! Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Got called three times today from this landline, I think it’s somewhere in Crewe. Every call only rings for about 5 seconds before just hanging up. Seems like one of those tricks where if you ring the number back, there’s no answer at all. Definitely dodgy - I’d steer well clear of this number!
