I missed a call from this lady by mistake, so I got back to her and she was really great about helping me with my work phones. She took a look at my account and we had a good laugh during the chat. She didn’t pressure me into anything and let me decide if I wanted to continue the review. Honestly, she made me realise where I was wasting money. It’s been a month now and I’m well pleased with the service. If she hadn’t called me, I’d probably still be stuck with my old contract. Totally worth taking the call!

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT about my business account, but that can't be right cos I don't even have a BT business account. Total scam, I reckon.

Got a call on my phone from someone asking for the person in charge of mobile contracts at my business. I told her there was no one available and asked her to take my number off their calling list since it's on the telephone preference service and shouldn’t be contacted - it’s actually against the law. She kept saying it wasn’t illegal, but I had to explain again what illegal meant before she just hung up. Pretty clear scam trying to trick you into giving bank details by pretending to offer savings on your phone deal.

This number called me yet again, saying they had permission from Vodafone to go over my contract. I reminded them it was an unsolicited cold call, but the person on the phone insisted, “If you check your contract’s terms, you’ll see we’re authorised to do this!” Let’s be honest, that sounds like complete rubbish. I told them so and firmly asked for my number to be removed from their records, especially since it feels like they’re using it without permission. Still, the caller kept arguing they had the ‘authority’ to ring me.

Been on the TPS for close to a decade now, but the calls just keep rolling in. Haven't owned a house in like 8 years, yet the calls keep coming, which just goes to show how outdated their contact lists must be.

Got a call but they didn't leave a voicemail. Could be spam or some kind of scam, honestly who knows! Just watch out for this number. If you pick up and they start asking for your personal info, don't hand anything over. I've blocked it already.

Got a call saying I’d been in a crash, but as soon as I realised it was a robot on the phone, I just ended the call.

somebody ringin me sayin’ they authorised by vodafone to do a 6 monthly check on our business account. i asked if we’d requested the call and they said no, but just kept sayin’ the same thing again. when i asked for the company name, it sounded like ice communications or summat, then they just cut the call straight away. i wanted to get in touch with vodafone to check, but couldn’t find any number or live chat anywhere, so ended up stuck.

Got a call from someone trying to chat about a mobile contract, but they didn’t even know the account holder’s name. When I mentioned we’re on the TPS list, they didn’t seem bothered at all. Definitely felt like a telemarketer.

I've got to say, it's driving me up the wall! This persistent individual just won't let up, constantly chattering away and talking over me as if it's a competition to see who can outsmart the other. She’s prattling on about not selling anything and pretending she's just having a look at my account. The thing is, I don’t even have an account with her! It’s all just a load of nonsense and terribly frustrating.

Got a call out of the blue from some telecom company claiming they wanted to "check over my mobile deals." Definitely one of those cold calls.

Utterly despicable cold callers! They ring out of the blue, which is a clear indicator of their total lack of integrity. To make matters worse, they fib about their identities and the products they're peddling. Time to hit that BLOCK button!
