I've had a similar experience with someone claiming to be 'anonymous' who supposedly won an iPhone and a grand in cash. They even went as far as asking me what colour I preferred for the phone! Honestly, this is getting ridiculous. I've reached my limit with these calls-best to just ignore them entirely.

Absolutely dreadful connection! They struggled to say my name, which isn’t exactly tricky, if I'm honest. Then they went on to ask for a completely different person, which left me a bit baffled. They did say sorry, but I decided to hang up at that stage. Not that they were impolite, just a shambolic line, to be fair!

Received a call claiming to be from MoneySuperMarket, stating I'd won either an iPhone or a grand in cash. When I expressed my preference for the cash prize, I felt quite sceptical and requested they send me something in writing since they had my address. They abruptly ended the call. The voice on the other end appeared youthful and wasn’t unfriendly, yet something about it left me uneasy.
