Today, I got a call on my landline from 01270323005, a number I don’t recognise at all. I wasn’t even at home when it rang. Thinking it might be a premium rate, I’ve avoided ringing back. I’ve just deleted the notification and labelled the caller as UNKNOWN.

Someone rang me claiming to be from an energy firm, saying they’d been trying to reach me for ages. They asked if they were talking to the person living at the house, and I said no. After that, they quickly made a few polite excuses and hung up.

Some bloke called James from Relief Energy kept ringing me up - who even?? He claimed I was the homeowner, which is right, but when I asked him who he was, he hung up straight away. Proper pain in the neck, and honestly, they were really cheeky about it. I did get a bit of satisfaction knowing I’m way politer than them, but I really don’t want that feeling just to deal with these pests. As usual, I’d say these guys are dodgy and target folks who might be easier to fool. J

Phone rang about 4 times, I picked up and there was nothing but silence. Typical scam or one of those cold calls, I reckon.
