I sought some information regarding my insurance, armed with the name of my policy. Admittedly, I was a bit hazy on the specifics of the term, as it was ages since I took it out. When he asked about my age, I preferred to keep that private but mentioned I was over sixty. His response was quite shocking; he insisted that he couldn’t possibly advise me on insurance matters without knowing my name. Then, rather inappropriately, he referred to me as an old codger! Talk about poor customer service.
