Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, ringing me every single day for like the past few days. He claimed he was from some RTA department or something. I told him to buzz off and sort himself out, then just hung up. Recovering from a stroke at the moment, so really don’t need this hassle.

Got a call earlier claiming someone at my house had been in a car crash, which was totally untrue. I hung up straight away. These calls really get to me, especially since my dad died in a car accident years back when he was just a passenger. Honestly, these calls should be outlawed completely, and the companies behind them ought to be fined big time.

i got a call from some guy named adam, sounded like he had an asian accent. he claimed he was calling from the rta department or something. i asked him what that was about, and next thing i know, he just ended the call. it was on my landline, so no chance to block the number.

Got a bloke on the phone with a foreign accent claiming he was from the RTA department. When I asked what that was, he said Road Traffic Accident. I didn’t give him any details, just told him it had nothing to do with me and called it a scam. Told him to get lost and never ring back. I was a bit harsh, but I’m fed up with scam calls constantly. They keep ringing my landline, which my elderly mum and dad use to get in touch, and my mobile too, though I can block those numbers easily on my phone. The landline’s worse because there’s no caller ID, so I have to pick up.
