I had a feeling this was one of those scam calls so I just ignored it and have now blocked the number. Earlier, I got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming they could help me get back some lost investments, the number was 07526893623. Seems like it’s the same lot. Why don’t the National Fraud Squad step in and deal with these annoying callers?

All I could hear was someone messin about on their keyboard. A minute after I ended the call, a private number rang me back, I didn’t pick up, and they left a voicemail with that same typing noise.

They kept saying I had opened a Financial Traders account with them a couple of weeks back! They were really pushy about it - When I calmly told them I hadn’t and ended the call, they called me again, but this time the number was "No Caller ID" - really annoying. How come a UK number is allowed to do stuff like this?

Got a call from an Asian lady saying Citizens Advice had got in touch about my unpaid debts. When I tried to find out what debts she was talking about, she just kept saying she was the one asking me. Totally a scam, no doubt about it.

On the 14th of March 2019, at precisely 12:22 in the afternoon, I got a call from the number 01269849529. Why is it so hard to find out who is really behind this number and either take legal action for these annoying cold calls or just get them shut down - ideally both! I received a call from this number on my mobile, and the caller inquired about a car accident that supposedly happened over the past year. The issue is, there hasn’t been any accident at all, nor is there any car insurance under my name. When I probed further about how they obtained my details, they claimed a third-party insurance company had shared my information. But, when I pressed for the name of that company, they abruptly cut the conversation short. Totally dodgy behaviour. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.
