For the past few weeks, my phone has been incessantly ringing with calls from various numbers in Ammanford. It all started with 01269 240494, which I promptly blocked. However, it seems to be never-ending, as I've now had a barrage of calls from ten different digits from the same area. I’ve opted not to engage with any of them and have just continued blocking each one. I'm curious-how many landlines do they possess? Is anyone else out there facing this annoyance? I keep receiving calls from the number 01269 600494, where the caller claims to be from Amazon. They then ask you to press 1 if you'd like to speak to a manager. It’s clearly a fraudulent scam. Not only this number, but they also ring from various mobile numbers, bombarding me with calls multiple times each day, including weekends.

Got two calls today from 01269 720430 with a recorded message saying it was from Amazon Prime about my account. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account! It's so dodgy. Does anyone at BT do anything to block these 01269 numbers that clearly seem like a scam? I just hung up both times.

Bloody time wasters! They’ve rung me about 10 times today - I finally answered just to tell them off and they just hung up. We put all calls through to voicemail and if no message’s left, we block them straight away. The issue is these muppets keep switching numbers, and now my block list is totally full. BT really ought to step up and do something about these pestering calls.

Had a couple of mystery callers today, neither left a message. The first one was listed as Unavailable, and the second was from 0129849064. I can’t help but feel a bit sorry for these lowlifes; it’s been five years since I’ve bothered answering any of their calls. Best of luck, you dodgy criminals!

Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was collecting info for some other firm. Told him I’m on the TPS and that I’d be reporting the number. He quickly said he’d take me off their list, but when I asked where he got my info from, he just ended the call. Proper annoying.

A lady with a really thick Indian accent rang me claiming she was from my internet company. Oddly, when I asked a few things, she actually knew the name of my provider and even my address! But then she went on about how my computer was letting in ‘foreign hackers and viruses’ or something like that. I told her she was talking nonsense and just hung up.

Got a call from someone overseas saying my computer had issues and they needed remote access to fix it. I was bored so I played along, telling them I couldn’t find my asset number and that my computer was actually called an "abacus".
