I picked up the phone when this number rang, but all I heard was weird noises and stuff I couldn't understand. So, I just hung up.

Got a ring on my home phone that showed as one of those nuisance calls. Thought I'd have a bit of a go back and picked up, but all I got was that weird dead tone. Proper gutted! I just don’t get it - if BT can see these calls are dodgy, why do they still let them through? They really should just block those numbers before they reach us and take legal action against them. Anyway, needed to vent somewhere!

I said “hello” a couple of times but got no reply, then after about 10 seconds I heard a weird noise and the call just cut off. This has happened a few times to me already and I reckon they could be dodgy scams, so I always flag them as suspicious.
