I get these annoying calls almost every day, like three times daily, always around the same hours. The person on the end speaks with a really heavy foreign accent, so no clue who it could be. They never bother to leave a voicemail either, which makes it even more frustrating.

I'm so sick of that phone number constantly ringing me. When I answer, either no one talks or they have this thick accent that's really hard to understand. I got a call from 01269 846198r today, the man said his name was Charlie Wilson but he had a pretty strong foreign accent, which didn’t really match his English name. He somehow knew my name, address, and postcode, then told me he had info about me getting nuisance calls. He asked how I pay my phone bill and when I said direct debit, he insisted I must be using a Visa or debit card. I told him no way, clearly a scammer. I told him to take a hike and stop bothering me, threw in a few choice words, and hung up. Reported the whole thing to the police and my phone company just to be safe.

I got a call from this number but when I answered, no one was there to talk.

I rang up earlier concerning the blocking of certain phone numbers. When I mentioned that I was already registered on their list, they confirmed it and even recounted my address. They were also aware that I pay via direct debit. Quite impressive, really!

I got a call from a supposed firm claiming they could block annoying phone calls. They asked me to confirm some details, I responded to every question but avoided simply saying “yes” because I didn’t want to agree to anything. Instead, I just said things like “that’s right.” Then they insisted I speak to a manager, and that’s when I ended the call. Seems like they’re a dodgy outfit trying to trick you into agreeing to scammy stuff.

I got a call from some strangers who somehow knew the final 4 digits of my credit card. They wanted the expiry date, which I gave, then passed me to a "supervisor." After a bit, I just hung up.
