I received a call today from someone insisting that I was due a £3500 PPI payout. It was clear to me that this was nothing more than a dodgy scam aimed at fishing for my banking information, especially since I've never lodged a PPI claim in my life. I must have repeated myself around six times, stating that I had no such claim, before they finally hung up. Quite infuriating, really!
