I received a rather peculiar call from a chap who spoke with an Indian accent, purporting to be from BT. He was adamant about me linking up my computer so he could demonstrate the reasons behind my sluggish internet connection. However, when I mentioned that my computer was switched off and that I needed to consult my actual service provider first, he abruptly ended the call. Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!
