Some bloke rang me claiming he was from TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet. He asked how many lights on my router were blinking, and when I said none, he told me to switch on my laptop so he could sort it out. I just ended the call. Then he phoned back, asking why I’d hung up and said my internet needed fixing. I told him everything’s fine with my connection and cut off again. Pretty certain it was a scam, since my TalkTalk account shows my broadband’s working perfectly.
