I answered and this guy started going on about how I’m owed money because of some new law - no clue how he even knew I’d taken out a loan, must be guessing. Tried telling him I wasn’t bothered, but he just kept at it like a broken record. Eventually, I had to tell him to jog on in no uncertain terms to shut him up.

Then I look the number up online, and if it’s a pestering call, I save it in my contacts under something like Ignore 14 - I keep track of all these annoying calls with a number to show how many there’ve been. Honestly, life’s too short to waste time on them, so I just let them ring and carry on adding the numbers to my blacklist. It’s quite amusing really, knowing the poor sod on the other end is probably stuck there all day, maybe regretting not applying themselves more when they were younger.
