I got a call from a bloke with a thick Welsh lilt who said he was checking up on my life insurance. The moment I asked for his name, he just cut the call. Sounds like another guy who’s given up on proper work and is now stuck trying to con folks from some dreary office with no windows. Such a sad way to make a living.

Had a rather drawn-out silence before I was connected to a chap from Liverpool at a rather raucous call centre. He was looking for a Mr. Spmferben-never heard of him! I exclaimed, "I think you've got the wrong number!" But then, bless him, he immediately launched into a spiel about something or other. Quite the unexpected turn!

I tried ringing the number back but it just went to an answering machine. Seems like they're using loads of different numbers, anyone else get calls from this? It’s a bit odd lol.

Received a rather dubious call from a call centre claiming I’d been involved in an accident within the past three years! When I inquired about the details of this so-called incident, the response was just baffling - “Oh, I’m not sure, all my system indicates is your name, address, and phone number.” I noticed the number was from nearby Amanford, Wales, but the woman on the line was actually phoning from Liverpool. Quite the shifty operation, if you ask me!
