I got a call from a bloke with a thick Welsh lilt who said he was checking up on my life insurance. The moment I asked for his name, he just cut the call. Sounds like another guy who’s given up on proper work and is now stuck trying to con folks from some dreary office with no windows. Such a sad way to make a living.

Got a call about some accident claim, so I've just blocked the number now.

There was a bit of a silence before a guy with a Scouse accent from a really loud call centre came on and asked for a Mr Spmferben. I told him he’d got the wrong number, but instead of hanging up, he just started rambling on with some sales pitch or something.

I tried ringing the number back but it just went to an answering machine. Seems like they're using loads of different numbers, anyone else get calls from this? It’s a bit odd lol.

Got a call the other day from a lady claiming I’d had an accident in the past three years. When I asked her which accident she meant, she couldn’t answer properly and just said her system only showed my name, address and phone number. The number she called from looked local to Ammanford in Wales, but the lady was actually ringing from Liverpool. Definitely one of those call centre calls trying to catch you out.
