Oh yeah, this one’s such an old trick, nothing new at all. Honestly, I can’t see how anyone still falls for it, must be only the gullible ones who get caught out!

If you receive a text saying it’s from HMRC saying you can get a tax refund but asks for your personal or bank details, just ignore it. Don’t click on any links they send you, it’s probably a scam.

I got a call from a guy saying he was calling from BT, my internet company. When I told him I don’t use BT, he just went quiet and then I heard the line go busy. Bit odd if you ask me.

Got a call from 01928 639801 earlier today, looked like some kind of scam or someone trying to steal info. Luckily, BT's call blocker and call minder kicked in, so they didn’t get through.
