Got calls from some life insurance lot about 3 or 4 times every day these past couple of weeks. Finally picked up today and it was a Welsh lady on the line. I told her to ring back later and then I just blocked the number.

Left a voicemail that went something like: “This is First-Line calling about a non-urgent issue. No need to do anything right now, we’ll try you again later. Or press 9 if you want to be taken off our calling list.” Just decided to block them instead.

This caller said they were from Sunlife, but as I already have Sunlife, I knew right away something was off. They were trying to fish out my personal info so they could get into my policy, probably to mess with it. I know Sunlife always contacts in writing, never over the phone like that.
