Just got a call from Total Utilisation Cover about some home appliance insurance. They were pushing me to fork out £185 for another three years or £85.99 to cancel. They mentioned a payment supposedly made three years ago, but after looking through my bank statements, there's no trace of it anywhere. I never paid them back then. They even warned me they might take the money from my bank, but I’m pretty sure they can’t since my card details have changed a few times since then.

My elderly dad got caught up in a dodgy TV insurance scam, they were hassling him about a bill for £293 and kept trying to make him give his bank info. When I stepped in and took the phone, the guy on the other end was really horrible and rude. Proper scam, avoid these people!

Looks like it might be the same lot who used to run Utility Cover Ltd, just conning folks and vanishing off the radar. We really need to call out these dishonest scammers and get them reported!

Yesterday, my mum got a scam call. I rang them back and was shocked they had all her info, even her maiden name - seemed fake but kinda convincing. When I started asking loads of questions, the guy got really nasty and pushy. Now I’m thinking of giving him a hard time since I’ve got their number, which I already sent to the cops. I keep seeing the same names popping up in every review about these scammers.

For the last couple of weeks, my 85-year-old grandad has been getting calls from this number claiming he owes £185 for car insurance. It's been really worrying for him.

My mum, who has dementia, got a call from Total Utility and they somehow got £185 off her for some insurance she didn’t even want. This happened around 10.10 in the morning, on the 18th of September 2020. What a bunch of crooks!

Got a call from someone called John Massey, said he was with Total Utilities Cover. They were talking about cover for household appliances, like the kind you see advertised on telly. Then he offered a discounted deal for the next three years, but asked me to give my new bank details. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Some scammer rang up my old neighbour claiming she owed for the last 3 years of a 5 year cover on her TV. He said he was Theo from Total Utility Cover. She was certain she didn’t have any policy, but they kept pushing. They somehow had the first 12 digits of her debit card and tried to guess the final 4 digits - the poor lady even helped them out! They've managed to take £185 from her bank. There isn’t any insurance at all. Just a warning to everyone out there.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Total Utility Cover, and they rattled off a card number from Halifax to try and convince her. They insisted she owed money for insurance on her washing machine. Twice he just hung up on her, but luckily she jotted down both the numbers he called from: 012688 51315 and 01268856157. She was clear she didn’t have any cover, and then contacted the Halifax fraud department straight away to block her card. Without a doubt, it was a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be "John Massey" trying to sell washing machine insurance for £84.99. Thankfully, my elderly Aunt was smart enough to ask them to drop their number so she'd ring back if she wanted. I don’t reckon we’ll be hearing from these lot again 😠🤬

Got a phone call moments ago from someone saying his name was Lewis from total utilities. He started talking about a payment for kitchen white goods insurance, which apparently started a couple of years back. Thing is, I've never actually signed up for anything like that with them. He went as far as quoting the last four digits of a card I supposedly used - but that number definitely isn't mine. Before hanging up, he threatened to send me a bill and claimed I'd get chased by debt collectors if I didn’t cough up. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Just tell those parasites to sort out the paperwork and send it over. They won’t do it though, since they don’t actually know where you live - they’re all a load of fakes! Easy really, or you could just give them the contact details of a decent solicitor and watch them scarper pretty quick. Absolute bottom feeders.

So there’s this woman named Lisa Murray Degisi, now living in Milnrow, and lemme tell you, her flash cars and massive house are definitely not from any proper job. Her daft husband, Reno, is right in on it with her. He’s always been a bit dodgy, if you ask me.

some guys called my mum, who’s well into her 80s, and gave the names matt reid and gary walker. she told them twice she wasn’t interested but they just wouldn’t take no for an answer. after she hung up twice, they said hanging up wouldn’t make a difference. i ended up calling them myself, telling them straight up to stop ringing her. i also asked them to take her name off their list properly, but they said that’s not how it works. honestly, watch out for this kind of thing.

Got a ring from some bloke called Matt Reed from Total Utility, claiming my washing machine cover was with them. He said they've knocked about £35 off my annual fees. When I asked if I had to pay right then, he insisted it would be taken straight from my bank today. Then he started quoting the first six digits of my card and wanted the next two. I told him I wasn’t comfortable sharing that info over the phone and he suddenly turned rude, telling me I’d hand it over. That made me really uneasy, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.

got a call about a tv warranty they claimed i purchased ages ago (which i never did), trying to sell me a ‘huge discount’. they somehow already had my personal info and card details, which freaked me out. they didn’t want to send me the policy info by email though, which felt dodgy. their website looked legit but calling them was a nightmare - either no answer or someone who said they’d call back but never did. ended up cancelling my card just to be safe. definitely a scam, steer clear!

I reckon 01226290167 and 01226395307 might be connected, quite possibly the same scam outfit. These firms never seem to file any accounts and keep popping up in different locations. They show fake offices and disappear when you start asking questions! Also, there’s no VAT number on their site, which is illegal if they’re actually making money.
