Received a phone call on Saturday morning inquiring whether we were affiliated with BT Openworld. The connection was rather poor, so I ended the conversation as they didn’t convey much information.

My landline rang and it was one of those recorded messages saying my IP address was hacked or something and to press 1 to fix it. I just hung up straight away cos I was sure it was a scam. Also made sure to block the number so they can’t call again!
