Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from some credit card company. She said there was a suspicious payment to Western Union and asked if I’d authorised it. She went on and on, then told me I needed to stop the payment by going through my bank. When I asked which bank, she blurted out Barclays - totally wrong. As soon as I questioned her, the call abruptly ended. Seems like a pretty clever scam trying to fish for my bank info.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from my credit card provider. She said there was a payment made to Western Union and asked if it was me. She went on and on, then told me I needed to stop the transaction by going through my bank. When I asked which bank, she said Barclays. That’s not my bank at all! Right after I pointed that out, she hung up quickly. Pretty sure it was a sneaky scam trying to trick me into handing over my bank info.
