somebody claiming to be from talktalk called me, but I knew it was a scam straight away. I kept asking loads of questions and they just gave up and hung the phone up. I wouldn’t trust them at all.

This is a scam, definitely not from BT. Avoid it!

Got a call where the answerphone had this automated lady telling me to press 1 if I was with BT, or another number if I was with a different phone company. Quite robotic and not very clear what they actually wanted.

I checked on reveal.name[###], and it shows the number is actually linked to BT. So, who's right here?

They've rung me up a few times now, saying my internet's been hacked or something. Total scam, just ended the call straight away.

This number has been calling me a few times in the past weeks. It normally rings three times and then stops before I can answer. Today I finally managed to pick up before it cut out. The person said they were from TalkTalk, talking about my internet and that my line might be disconnected. I'm not a customer, so I asked who they really were, and then the call just ended.

This phone number is from Basildon landline. It’s probably the same scam where they cut off your internet. Definitely looks dodgy to me.

Missed the call and tried ringing back, only to find it was a cut off line. I know someone in the 01268 code who's about to have a baby, so I thought it was her or her partner calling. Now I'm proper annoyed after reading the other reviews about this number.

Got a voicemail from a woman in the States saying pretty much the same thing as before.

Some bloke called saying my internet would get a discount in 2 minutes. Seemed fishy so i asked some questions, then he told me to shut up! Proper rude, so I just ended the call.

I got a robocall supposedly from BT saying my internet would get cut off because it was being hacked from California. Total scam. Funny enough, just a few hours before, some bloke called "Kevin" with an Asian accent rang me and went on about weird activity on my PC trying the same old trick. They’re just out to scam you, best thing is to hang up and block the number, don’t fall for it.

Been getting calls often on my home phone from this number pretending to be TalkTalk. They keep saying there's some issue with my internet and it'll get cut off unless I do something. They ask me to go onto my computer which felt a bit pushy and intimidating. Seemed really dodgy to me so I just ended the call. Definitely smells like a scam.

Got a voicemail supposedly from BT saying my computer had a problem. I ended the call and put the 1572 number on my block list, but then the phone buzzed straight after with the exact same number calling again.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT telling me my broadband would be cut off for 15 days. I told them I doubted they were really with BT and asked where they were actually calling from, then they just hung up on me. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam because I got the exact same call yesterday. I phoned BT to check and they told me it definitely wasn’t them. I also tried calling back on 01268796657 but the number doesn’t seem to exist.

Be careful with this one, it’s definitely a scam. I got a call from a robotic voice claiming to be from BT’s tech support. I’ve already informed my internet provider about it. Don’t get tricked by this!

I received a call that had an automated woman’s voice, claiming that my BT service would be cut off today due to some breach happening over in California. They instructed me to press 1 or something along those lines. What a rigmarole!

Got two calls cut off and then this number rang again, but this time it was some robot with an American voice saying my BT line was at risk and might get shut off. They said to press 2 if I wanted to sort it out. I just hung up straight away and looked the number up online. Honestly, I'm getting so fed up with these scam calls popping up all the time.

Some guy with really poor English called saying he was from BT. He told me our internet had issues and that it would get cut off if we didn’t fix it straight away. When I started asking him some questions, he just ended the call.
