Got a robocall with some American accent saying it was BT telling me our internet had been hacked and would be cut off in an hour unless I pressed 1 for BT or 2 for something else. Obviously I just ended the call. We don’t even use BT and it seems highly unlikely they’d deal with things like that over the phone.

Got a robotic scam call, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

somebody called saying they were from the windows tech support and said my pc was showing a load of warning alerts. i told him my computer wasnt even on and then he just ended the call.

Some bloke rang me up saying he was from some server company, didn’t say which one tho, and started going on about my internet being slow on my computer. I told him I don’t even own a laptop or computer, just use my phone for the internet. He just went ‘oh’ and then promptly ended the call. Bit weird if you ask me.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from the Windows support team, who insisted that my computer was supposedly bombarding them with error alerts. I simply told him that my device was off at the moment, and just like that, he abruptly ended the call!
