I got three calls from them, but I never even picked up. Just hearing that female voice from the East made me suspicious right away. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

They kept ringing me up trying to get my card info for some sort of boiler insurance. Luckily I was around when they phoned back. I told them straight up I’m not interested and to quit ringing me all the time. Seriously, how do folks like that not feel guilty? So annoying!

Got a call earlier today from 01268653970, some bloke with a Chinese accent trying to sell me a TV care plan that’s supposedly due for renewal after 3 years. He mentioned I could get half off my last payment. Thing is, I’ve owned the TV for over 4 years, way before lockdown even. Never signed up for any policy like that. Feels dodgy to me. Definitely a SCAM.

Like others have mentioned, I got a call about some TV repair insurance I'd supposedly signed up for. They said I owed around £350 in overdue payments and that cancelling would cost me over £100. The weird part is, they knew the details of a card I used almost 4 years ago - makes me think there’s been a data leak somewhere and these scammers got hold of it. The lady on the phone said her name was Grace but didn’t tell me her surname or which company she was calling from.

I’ve been getting loads of calls from this 01268 code, though the last digits keep switching up!
I have BTmguardian blocking, but they still manage to sneak past by tweaking the final numbers.
Really feels like the government should do what they said and put an end to this nonsense.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a home insurance company or something similar, telling me my payment for a TV repair plan was due and that I had to renew it. I told them I hadn’t signed up for any such plan, but they kept insisting I was wrong, even blamed me for not keeping track of my payments, like it was my mistake. Then they just hung up on me. Honestly, they didn’t seem very clever.

Yesterday I got a call from a number almost the same as this one, just one number off. I’d read before that this one was a known scam, pretending to be from a homecare company. Didn’t pick up, and they didn’t leave any voicemail, just hung up. Pretty sure it’s just another dodgy call.
