This morning, I received a call from a woman speaking with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Vodafone. She was touting an amazing offer on an iPhone 15. I decided to hang up on her.

It’s honestly crazy how these scammers seem to be living it up. I called them out for targeting old and vulnerable folks, and their reply was pure arrogance. One bloke told me, “You lot, struggling working class, probably just scraping a cheap meal as it is, meanwhile, we’ll be chilling in Miami soon, downing cocktails and tucking into Lobster Thermidor.” They openly admitted to cashing in big time while everyone else suffers with the cost of living going through roof. They’ve made a fortune while the rest of us are barely getting by. Proper infuriating.

Got a call from what said it was a Basildon number. It was the same woman with an Indian accent who’d just rang me 2 hours before from a Blackpool number. She was acting like she was from Vodafone and had some amazing iPhone 15 offer. I played along for a bit before finally blocking the number.
