It began with the insinuation that I had been dishonest on a loan application. Then, the chap pressed me to admit I had outstanding debts and suggested I might be eligible for a government scheme that could potentially slash my debt by a whopping 60%. I explained that I was at work and genuinely couldn’t engage in a lengthy conversation. His response was rather cheeky: "We're all hard at it, so there's no reason you can't manage both." I stood my ground, reiterating my inability to continue the call. In a rather abrupt manner, he finished our interaction with, "I'm not sending you any details via email. Just jog on," before hanging up the line.

They keep ringing me, but as soon as I pick up, they just disconnect.

I got a call from some bloke telling me I owed money, but I told him I didn’t. After that, he started shouting all sorts of insults, including calling me an English mother ####er. It was quite a funny chat really, but definitely a scammer who didn’t appreciate being called out!

This bloke was clearly a scammer fishing for details about my debts. When I refused to share anything, he quickly turned nasty and started swearing at me. Honestly, it was quite funny watching him lose his cool like that.
