Just got a call at 12:41 from some "Bank Security" number saying there were two charges on my account this morning with Amazon for £300, which is rubbish as neither me nor my missus made those purchases. Definitely a scam trying to scare people. Amazon has already put out warnings that scammers misuse their name like this and that their customer procedures aren’t like what the call suggested. Typical fraudsters trying to cause a panic.
