I get calls a couple times a year from someone claiming to be an energy advisor, but they try to make it sound like they're from some kind of government grant scheme. They keep popping up in my phone listings, which is a bit annoying.

This morning, around 10:30, I got a call from 01268469397. As soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Later, I rang them back from my phone but kept my number private. A voicemail said something like “this is nevssdesk” and then gave details about how to reach them, including an extension number. A quick Google search pointed me towards a few newsdesks, but I’m guessing this one is based in Basildon.
