This number called while I wasn’t home, but I found it here and blocked it straight away. If they ring again, all they'll hear is a dead line instead of the phone buzzing. Honestly, if a different scammer bothers me again, I might just start blasting a whistle down the line to put them off.

This is the second time I've gotten a call like this. Last time it happened, my online banking showed a £600 withdrawal - honestly, it's so upsetting how violating it feels. I messed up and answered once, then they rang back a bit later but I didn’t answer. Someone’s been calling me twice in half an hour, which is really annoying.

I got this robo call telling me my internet was gonna be disconnected in a day or two, and if I wanted to speak with someone I had to press 1. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a voicemail from something called Visa-Safe about HCBC, saying there's a £600 charge they didn’t recognise and to press 1 if it wasn’t us. We never made that payment, so we just hung up and rang 1471 to check the caller ID - it was 01268417251. A quick search on Google brought us straight here. Not bad for an older person figuring this out! Haha, scammers, we see through your tricks!

This is my mum and dad's home phone, but those calls weren’t actually made from their number! We’ve reported everything to the police already. If anyone gets calls telling you to ring this number, please don’t do it - they’ve had over 40 calls, and some of them quite threatening! It’s a really nasty scam so please warn your parents not to ring back or share any info. Stay safe everyone.

Someone rang me up saying there was an issue with my online banking and that £600 had been taken out of my account. Problem is, I don’t even do online banking. I ended up talking to them, but I reckon it was a robotic message that started when I spoke. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
