Typical overseas call centre experience here... I was met with a rather awkward pause before a gentleman with an unmistakable Indian accent introduced himself as being from 'U-benefit'. He claimed he needed to ask me a few uncomplicated questions about my home, despite the fact that I was rather pressed for time. When I calmly requested that he take my number off their calling list, he bluntly informed me that was out of the question and promptly disconnected the call.
