I've gone ahead and blocked that number! The individual on the other end claimed to be from Home Care, supposedly inquiring about my TV insurance dues, clearly fishing for my credit card details. What a cheeky scam!

Got a call supposedly from a home care service about paying for some TV insurance. I didn’t trust it and ended up blocking the number. Feels dodgy and quite risky!

A person rang claiming to be from Homecare Ltd, saying they’d been looking after my appliances for the last three years. Totally not true. When I told them they hadn’t covered me at all, they just ended the call. I looked up the company on Companies House and it turns out it’s been dissolved and isn’t operating anymore. Definitely a scammer.
