He said it was for some market survey. He knew my postcode and street but not the house number. When he asked for it, I asked why he needed that info and he couldn’t give me a straight answer. I asked where he was calling from and he said Basildon. I told him I wasn’t interested at all and he suddenly got a bit too keen. He tried hanging on to the call but I just ended it. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a couple of calls, both from folks speaking with Indian accents. From what I’ve heard, these are probably scams. So I just blocked and deleted them straight away.
