I had a rather peculiar phone call today, claiming to be from an electric contents insurance company called HPPS. They informed me I had been with them for two years at no charge, but now I supposedly needed to cough up £526 to continue for the next three years. They even offered a discount, bringing it down to about £200! The first caller was a chap, and then a lady took over a few minutes later. Ultimately, she hung up on me! Seems like a dodgy setup if you ask me.
