Got a call one evening just after Christmas. My surname is quite straightforward for Brits, but foreigners always butcher it - so that was my first clue. Turned out to be a company claiming to sell insurance for electrical stuff. I knew the voice straight away and hung up. Definitely a scam, not linked to any legit eei gang services!

He kept ringing me all day long. He claimed he wanted to cancel a policy with HDP about structural repairs but said he couldn't do it without a chat first. I told him to stop calling or i'd have to report him for harassment. Then he got annoyed and said they'd be taking £139 from my bank account.
