Got a call from 01268653954 claiming to be from some homecare about my TV insurance ending after 2 years. When I asked for more details, the person on the phone got quite rude and brushed me off even though they already knew my name and address. Feels like a scam to me.

About three years back Aqua said if I stayed inside my credit limit and paid at least the minimum due, they’d reduce my interest rate by 10%. Just before the three years was up, I got a letter saying they raised my interest rate by 6% to 34.9%, and cash advances jumped to 41.9%. Since they went back on what they promised, which I have in writing, I figured they can sod off for the £4300 I owe! Is it even legal for them to promise one thing and pull a stunt like this?

Its Aqua ringing about a missed payment. If you own an Aqua card and forgot to pay, youve signed up to pay at least the minimum by a certain date. Thats all legit and part of the deal. If it slipped your mind (same here, so they gave me a shout), just sort the payment and they generally leave you alone within a day. If you dont have an Aqua card, just block the caller.

Got a call from an 0800 number this morning while I was having a shower but they left no voicemail. I checked 1471 and didn’t know the number, so I looked it up here. I’ve never come across this Aqua firm before and have definitely not dealt with them. I don’t have any third-party credit cards either. Judging from the comments here, AQUA must have called me over 20 times in just 4 days! Every time I pick up, they just hang up straight away!!! I've paid already, so what on earth is wrong with these people?

I won’t get into loads of detail since others have said what I was gonna say, but I got 12 calls in just one day, starting at 8:55 in the morning and the last one came through at about 8:30 at night.

Aqua credit card drives me mad. I’ve never had an account with them and yet they ring me non-stop from morning till night every single day. I’ve blocked their numbers but they just keep switching them and bother me even after admitting they don’t have any info on me.

Got a call from this number but I missed it, so I rang them back. They couldn’t locate my details anywhere and had no clue why I’d been contacted. They did say sorry though. Now I’m just waiting to see if they call again, cos if they do, I won’t be pleased and I'll let them know. I've read some pretty bad stuff about this credit card firm.

They've been ringing me every day, like every few minutes apart, cos I missed one payment. I’ve never missed a single one in two years but this month I’ve been having seizures and dealing with my health. Despite that, they keep calling so much it actually triggered another seizure. I told them I'd pay the five quid I owe and explained I’m just going through some health issues right now. Still, they keep ringing me from early morning till late at night.

aqua whoever claimed they’d ring you just 3 times lol, i can prove otherwise with a screenshot from today alone starting at 9.02 am, which i’m pretty sure breaks the law. they kept calling about every 45 mins till i finally redirected it through an app straight to their own call centre. but when i tried calling back the number, it was just an automated message saying they’re closed today haha.

They ring me pretty much every day, about every 9 minutes or so. I've blocked the number, but they just keep on trying. Really hope they stop bothering me soon!

I keep receiving relentless calls on my mobile from a number that insists on speaking to someone I've never encountered before - clearly, they don’t live at my address. They even ring as late as midnight! I've requested multiple times for them to take my number off their list, but they persistently ring me from various other numbers. Honestly, I haven't a clue how they managed to obtain my number in the first place!

Aqua credit card. The people working at the Basildon call centre are really rude. They keep ringing you and when you pick up, it sounds like they’re not listening. Then when you call them back, all you can hear is them laughing in the background. This should seriously be considered harassment.

I’m pretty sure it’s Aqua since loads of others mention the same caller. I’m quite deaf myself and hardly ever take calls except from family or mates because I struggle to make out what people say. I’ve told them over and over in the past few days but they just keep calling anyway. I can’t even work out who they’re after - probably me, I guess. Why can’t they just listen? Or maybe they can’t hear properly either!

If they want your info, it’s usually because they need to confirm who you are due to the Data Protection rules - doesn’t mean it’s a scam. Sometimes you might have forgotten a payment and they just need to verify before talking about anything else. They should sort it all out once they've checked your details properly.

Got a call from Aqua.paid card balance early morning around 7, and they kept ringing up till 5 in the evening. I just hit answer but didn’t say a word, then put the phone down. Seems to really frustrate them!

Got two calls from this number today. I never pick up if I don’t know who it is, especially when they leave no voicemail. Checked here and it said it’s Aqua - but I’m not convinced. I’ve had my Aqua card for ages and they’ve never phoned me before. I pay by direct debit anyway. Definitely putting this number on my block list.

I've been getting calls from this Aqua lot, plus a similar number ending in 55, and altogether they've rung me about 40 times just this week. I only figured out it was Aqua thanks to this website. Whenever I don’t recognise a number, I just let it ring through to voicemail, thinking if it’s actually important, they’d leave a message. But nope, nothing.
