I keep receiving phone calls from this number almost on a daily basis. They purport to represent Talk Talk, which I’ve confirmed isn’t the case. Their spiel revolves around an alleged issue with my internet speed, attributing it to a virus infecting my Windows device. Quite amusing, really, as I don’t even possess a Windows device! When I ask them to cease their incessant calls, they abruptly end the call and seem to ring back the following day without fail. The callers vary - sometimes it’s blokes, other times it’s ladies, but they all seem to have what I’d describe as an “Indian” accent. I’ve reported the number to the Telephone Preference Service in hopes of putting an end to this harassment.
