Called asking to chat with someone I guess used to have this number (had a few calls for them earlier). The woman was like 'oh right, no problem, thanks', and then just hung up.

Got a call today from a Basildon number saying they wanted to "check" if I'd gotten a leaflet they'd dropped in a bunch of homes nearby. As soon as she brought up "Green Energy Funding," I ended the call. Feels like they're trying to dodge the rules on cold calls.

Honestly, whats the use of signing up for TPS if the calls keep ringin?! I struggle to answer sometimes so these calls arent just annoying, they’re a proper pain. It has to be a way to stop them but since phone companies make money from these calls, doubt they’re rushin to fix it anytime soon.

Got a call from 01268 208911, they said they were ringing homes in Wickford. I told her I’m signed up with TPS and warned her I’d report them to both the TPS and ICO for blatantly breaking the rules. She mentioned some company called ‘Homes’.

Got a missed call from this number earlier, tried ringing back since the area code 01268 is local to me, but no reply. I looked the number up online and found loads of posts about it. Glad I have a call blocker installed, as it’s now on my blocked list. Honestly, these scam callers shouldnt just get fined, they need to be locked away for good for preying on vulnerable folks.
