someone rang me saying they were from smiths in basildon and had some kind of deal on windows since they said they'd be in my neighbourhood soon. you could clearly hear the typical call centre noises in the back. i told them i’m signed up with the taxpayers protection scheme so i shouldn’t be getting sales calls like this. they just ended the call straight away after that.
