We got a call from someone asking if we wanted to add more double glazing. My missus got a bit taken in, thinking it was the same local firm that did our windows a few years back.

Got a call from this number but didn’t answer cause I didn’t know who it was. Got caller ID and didn’t seem familiar, so I left it. Came here afterwards to see who it might be. I only pick up calls from numbers I know.

Got a call on our landline from a Basildon number at about 1:07pm today, but luckily it didn’t get through because we’ve got one of those automatic call blockers on. No idea who was trying to ring or what it was about.

Answered the phone but stayed silent. After a bit, a worried-sounding woman said "Hello" about three times before just hanging up. Lately I've been getting loads of calls from the 01268 area code. They say they're from Basildon, but I don't know anyone there. Definitely scammers, in my opinion.
