Got a call from 01267863902 today and accidentally called back. Terrible noise in the background and the woman mentioned something about life insurance. When I asked where they got my number from, she said it’s all from a database. I told her I wasn’t interested and to stop calling me. She kept saying “very sorry” a few times before I hung up. After reading other comments here, I guess she might’ve been new and unsure of how to handle it. Fingers crossed they don’t bother me anymore.

Got a call from this number today, 30th September 2016. Annoying bloke with a Welsh accent saying I could be entitled to a PPI claim. I told him I never had any reason to claim PPI. He snapped back, "How can you be so sure?" then went on about mortgages and loans like he was some kind of expert. I said, "Not for over 40 years," and he just hung up on me. Rude git.

Got a call from a firm called U Legal, claiming they were backed by the government. Told them I’m not interested in random calls, and this rude bloke insisted it wasn’t a cold call because they already had my details. I just ended the call there.

I got a call from some outfit called ULegal, saying they’re government-backed and help retrieve PPI. I told the bloke I’d already claimed what was due, but he wouldn’t let it go, insisting I was still owed money. He started laughing at me and got quite hostile when I said I wasn’t interested in their unsolicited calls. I let him know he was arguing with someone who could’ve been a customer, then I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with ULegal about a refund I supposedly qualify for. They asked if I’d ever got a mortgage, loan, or car insurance in the past 15 years. I told them I’m only 21, so 15 years ago I was just a kid, so no. When I asked where they had my info from, they said it’s in their database and that they could help me save money. I told them not to bother calling again and stop wasting my time.

They called themselves "ULegal" and claimed to be about PPI. But a quick look on Companies House shows ULegal Ltd stopped trading years ago - it was officially dissolved in 2015. The director was Anthony Murtagh, who’s known for some pretty shady business stuff. I’d steer well clear of these lot. I’m planning to report them to the OFT and any other relevant authorities because I have a feeling they’re breaking rules, possibly even the law, by operating under the name of a company that no longer exists.

I've received around ten calls from this number previously, yet not a single response! A couple of times, there was laughter and some rather inappropriate language. I can handle myself fine, but it's becoming rather unsettling! Got a call from someone saying UK Legal or a similar name. They claimed I have some secret insurance and knew my name and address. They even said I’d paid a bank for PPI and hadn’t claimed anything. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call quickly.

I can't recall the exact name the caller gave, but it began with a ‘U’, something like Uclaim or Uinsurance. He said I had some kind of insurance linked to me. I kept saying no, no, no. Then he asked if I’d checked into it. I told him I get loads of calls like this and they’re all scams. He insisted it wasn’t. I told him I was googling the number right then and bet it was a scam, then hung up. Every comment here backs that up. I’ve never had an accident or anything to do with insurance!
