On the 8th of March, 2016, I received an unsolicited phone call from a gentleman who seemed to possess an alarming amount of my personal information, including the fact that I had recently been in a car accident. When I pressed him for the name of the company he was representing, he distinctly refused to disclose that information. Although the other driver had taken full responsibility for the incident and fortunately, no injuries were suffered, he continued to push for an agreement of shared fault. To my disbelief, he even sought my consent to pursue a compensation claim, despite there being no injuries whatsoever. I must say, I find this kind of aggressive cold calling utterly appalling.

I got a call out of the blue on 8th March 2016 from a man who already seemed to know loads about me, including an accident I’d been in. He wouldn’t say which firm he was working for, which felt a bit off. The other driver had accepted fault, and luckily nobody got hurt. Still, this bloke tried hard to push me into saying the accident was partly my fault and then wanted me to agree to make a compensation claim, even though no injuries happened. Honestly, I found the whole call really shady and upsetting. The number was 01267 863875.
