I got a call from a bloke who started off asking loads of questions about whether I had life insurance and if it was linked to my mortgage, also which bank I used. Only after I pushed for it did he say he was calling from a company called Reinsure, claiming they had backing from places like Royal London and Arriva. When I said I didn’t want to discuss any of that stuff or how much was left on my mortgage, and asked him to remove my number from his call list, I had to repeat myself a couple of times before hanging up. He was really pushy, speaking quickly and not letting me get a word in.
